Potency Testing

Residual Solvents

Solvent-based extraction produces high-quality concentrates using chemicals like butane, propane, and ethanol. To ensure these potent, terpene-rich formulas are safe to ingest, ACS verifies your product is compliant with all residual solvent limits using Gas Chromatography - Mass Spectrometry (GC-MS).

Mycotoxins are contaminants that naturally occur in molds and fungi, which decompose organic matter. You can find molds that contain mycotoxins in a variety of crops such as nuts, spices, apples and coffee beans.

Moisture Content / Water Activity

Hemp and cannabis plants need water to grow and thrive, and yet your final products must be stripped of most of their moisture in order to guarantee safety. Overmoisturization can occur as a result of overwatering, high humidity or an ineffective curing process. This is especially a risk for plants that grow outside, which are more susceptible to environmental conditions.

PAH Testing

Hemp Sample Collection

Vitamin E Acetate

More than a thousand people across the U.S. have reported lung-related illnesses related to vaping and 34 people have died.
