Dr. Aixia Sun
Principal Scientist Laboratory Director
Dr. Sun is responsible for method development, optimization, validation and troubleshooting on Liquid Chromatography-Mass Spectrometry (LC-MS), Gas Chromatography (GC), Gas Chromatography-Mass Spectrometry (GC-MS), Inductively Coupled Plasma Mass Spectrometry (ICP-MS), Ultra High-Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC). Ms. Sun has extensive experience in sample extraction techniques, automation and throughput.
Ms. Sun has over 20 years of experience across the fields of diagnostic, environmental, pharmaceutical R&D, clinical toxicology, and now in cannabis testing. Prior to ACS, Ms. Sun was a scientist at a number of domestic and international organizations including Targegen, Lexicon Genetics, Neurocrine Bioscience, and Takeda San Diego.
Ms. Sun has a B.S. in Physical and Analytical Chemistry from Tsinghua University in Beijing, China, an M.S. in Chemistry from the University of Missouri, and a doctorate in Health Sciences from A.T. Still University.
Roger Brown
President
A pioneer in the cannabis testing space, Roger Brown co-founded the first cannabis testing laboratory in Florida ― ACS Laboratory ― in 2008. Today, ACS is the largest cannabis and CBD/hemp third-party testing and compliance laboratory in the Eastern U.S. Utilizing its vast experience in high complexity laboratory tests, ACS developed proprietary testing methods for cannabis, hemp and all derivatives.
